Who Pro is for, and who it isn't.

Editorial

Pro is for you if

You’re enriching an ETF portfolio with individual stocks, and you want context — not just numbers. You read Stratechery on weekends. You want to know why a stock sits in fifteen top portfolios, not just that it does. You’d rather have one editor’s take plus the data than ten data tables. A coffee-per-week feels fair for a tool that respects your intelligence.

Stay on Free if

You read the Sunday Pulse summary over coffee and that’s enough. You like browsing the Top 100 and reading the 200-word brief snippets. You don’t need the full editorial layer or the current-quarter Stock Picks. We’d rather you read us free for years than churn after one month.

Common questions

Six, that’s all
Is there a Pro+ or Enterprise plan?
No. We deliberately ship two plans. If you need API access at higher volumes, email hello@thefilingpost.com and we’ll figure it out together.
How is this different from Quiver Quantitative or Unusual Whales?
Quiver and Unusual Whales show you data tables. We curate. The Top 100 is a hand-picked editorial set of fund managers, with a 500-word AI-written brief on each of them that ties their style, their holdings, and their recent moves into one read. The Sunday Pulse weaves the week’s biggest moves into a single 1500-word narrative. If you want raw data feeds, keep using Quiver. If you want disclosures translated into a research workflow, you’ll be happier here.
Why $9.99?
It’s roughly half the price of comparable Pro tools in the category. It’s also a price we can sustain without compromising on real-time data or AI-generated briefs. We don’t run paid marketing — keeping the price honest is part of how we keep subscribers.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from your settings page in two clicks. We don’t ask why, we don’t make you talk to anyone, and we refund the unused portion of your annual plan within 14 days of any cancellation.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don’t run trackers, we don’t have an advertising business, and the user data we hold is your email address and the experts you follow. Read the privacy page if you want the full account.
Is the AI editorial actually written by AI?
Yes. The manager briefs, the Sunday Pulse, and the stock-page briefs are all generated by Anthropic’s Claude — Sonnet 4.6 for the long-form writing, Haiku 4.5 for short curator notes. Every factual claim traces to a row in our public-record corpus (SEC EDGAR + the Congressional disclosure systems); the model never invents numbers. We’re transparent about this because the alternative — pretending humans wrote it — would be worse. Nullius in verba.
